Re: What was the last movie you watched?
The Green Hornet
Loved it. Very Funny. Good action sequences. A twistingly wierd plot.
The Excorcist
AAAAAAAAAAAAGH!!!!!!!

Scream
I love this movie.
Inception
Amazing film. Even those who don't like it can't deny that the shifting-gravity hallway scene is incredible.
Searching For Bobby Fisher
Watch this film. I mean it. I had no idea a freakin' chess movie could be so good.

The 6th Day
This is awesome. Mainly because there are two Arnold Schwarzenegger's in it. What more could one ask for? (...three?)
Best line:
Arnie: You should clone yourself now, while you're still alive.
Bad Guy: Why, so I can share your unique perspective?
Arnie: No, so you can go f*ck yourself.
^Just for that quote, I will watch it.
The Bride of Frankenstein
I really love these monster classics. This was great.
"We belong dead!"
Cinderella Man
Loved this, really good movie.

*Rushes out to buy*
The Weather Man
It got sooo awkward. But it was good, Nicolas Cage actually played the part and not himself.
Michael Caine was amazing.
5/10
Scooby Doo 2
I genuinely enjoy these movies. Does that make me a bad person?
Watched Blue Valentine last night.
As a married man it scared the crap out of me, and at the same time, emboldened me to be the best husband I can possibly be.
TRON: Legacy
My critical side liked it. My other side loved it. 3D was nice, and the CGI was amazing. Except for CLU/Young Flynn's face. Blegh. And of course, Daft Punk's soundtrack was superb.
The Cottage
An absolutely hilarious British kidnapper/slasher film starring Andy Serkis. It was gory as hell ... it was also damned funny.
I Sell the Dead
A film about grave robbers, it starred Dominic Monaghan and Ron Perlman. It had an interesting setup, anthology-style, in which Dom's character recounts various grave-robbing incidents. It was weird how casually everything in the movie was more or less taken, but then again, some of the comedy sort of came from that. I dunno if I'd call it a must-see, but it was worth a watch.
Splice
When this movie started out, I thought it was pretty much going to be 'Oh, those crazy scientists!' But then there were motherhood issues and all kinds of other stuff swirling around thematically, and then an ending which sort of morphed into what I kind of had expected the rest of the movie to be, except it didn't feel quite right by that point ... I dunno, it was a hell of an experience, but I'm still not sure what I feel about having had it.
It was unique, let's say.

The Exorcist
Scary, though not as scary as I was expecting. Though I was struck by how good the film actually was.
Full Metal Jacket
Excellent film.
I've been watching way too many movies recently.

ZOMBIE STRIPPERS
A real dude's movie. Gorgeous girls, zombies, action.... really what more can you wish for?
the movie itself is definitely a B-Movie, somewhat like Grindhouse movies used to be. Anyways it's so bad it's actually good ![]()
I'm a fan of so-bad-it's-good kind of movies, but I thought zombie strippers was just so bad it's bad.
Get Smart
It was really funny, which I wasn't expecting, but I loved it!Monty Python's the holy grail
I thought it was okay.
"I fart in your general direction!"
No offense, but Monty Python beats Get Smart in every way possible. I don't see how you find Monty Python "okay" but Get Smart really funny.
Just my $0,02.
Monty Python are genius, though I guess you're entitled to, like, your opinion, man.
Zodiac
Woah. Really great film. Though I think I preferred Fight Club and Se7en. But still, woah.
I'm a fan of so-bad-it's-good kind of movies, but I thought zombie strippers was just so bad it's bad.
So-bad-it's-good films are great. There's something about watching a real piece of !@#$ that just can't be matched by normal films. Then there's the occasional so-bad-it's-a-masterpiece. Plan 9 comes to mind.
It's an artform.

He said he wasn't expecting get smart to be funny. (Which makes it funnier imo) But Monty Python has to be funny, and you compare it to their other works.
$0.02.
