My List wrote:My Original List wrote:]Once Upon a Time in the Wild West (although, the composer who did this and the 'Dollars Trilogy' does have a habit of repeating the same hook over and over again throughout the movie. It gets kinda annoying after a while, but if you just listen to any one of the tracks by itself...its beautiful)
It's Once upon a time in the West, not Wild West.
I love the soundtrack from "A Serious Man" by Carter Burwell.
Top 15 Soundtracks (Original Score)
The Godfather (Nino Rota)
Robin Hood, Prince of Thieves (Michael Kamen)
The Adventures of Robin Hood (Erich Wolfgang Korngold)
The Double Life of Veronique (Preisner
Atonement (Dario Marianelli)
Up (Michael Giacchino)
The Village (James Newton Howard)
Koyaanisqatsi (Philip Glass)
Rudy (Jerry Goldsmith)
Amelie (Yann Tiersen)
Finding Neverland (J.A. Kaczmarek)
Pan's Labyrinth (Javier Navarette)
Il Postino (Luis Enriquez Bacalov)
Legends of the Fall (James Horner)
Star Wars (John Williams)
Again, it's an older list. I may change after I listen to more of this 2010's scores (True Grit, Social Network, THONG Legacy, and Inception are great)
THONG Legacy? ![]()
DARK Knight is good but it's basically a mix of old Batman Begins tracks.
My personal favorite is Transformers it has this epic music I just love it! Lord of The Rings has also very enjoyable soundtrack and great atmosphere. So yeah I guess Tformers & LOTR soundtracks are my favorite.

Same with most franchise films (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, et cetera)
At the same time, I love the musical representation of the chaos of the Joker. While it's hardly auditorially pleasing, it really works at conveying the concept. I definitely found the TDK soundtrack to be superior to the first.

I hear ya. I listened to the score for The Social Network before watching the movie, for example, and didn't care for it. BUT after watching the film, I realized how well it fits.
Huh. While I haven't listened to the full soundtrack (or seen the film, for that matter D:), I really enjoyed the tracks on the sampler they put out.
