Topic: Your favourite soundtrack!

What's your favourite soundtrack? (not the title song, I mean the music under the film)
Discuss it here!

Mine is from Star Trek (2009), it was really awesome and it made the film retro and new at the same time.
I also really like the soundtrack of Mass Effect 2 (which is a game). It was very epic.

There Will Be Blood (Jonny Greenwood)
Ridiculously awesome. One of the rare film soundtracks that actually draws on good modern classical music instead of overused Romantic-era clichés.

Aguirre, the Wrath of God (Popol Vuh)
Utterly strange and hypnotic.

Re: Your favourite soundtrack!

Sorry for the Cliche, but I have to say Harry Potter (Any of them). Of course, the books are so much better than the films, but that soundtrack blows me away every time I hear it. You may think I don't see enough movies, but I really just love this.

It took 14 posts for this to be mentioned? mini/eek Would we even know/care what a soundtrack is without these?

Besides those, The Last Samurai by Zimmer is one of my faves.

Curtis Mayfield, Superfly

It's the only soundtrack I own except 2001: Space Odyssey (which is just weird acid music)
