Topic: First Person Test

20fps, I used a torso that I cut the neck off of for this purpose ages ago and then attched it to a long tile brick coming out from under my QC9000's lego cradle. It turned out ok, but the walk cycle was too fast. This was a quick technique test and in that sense I think it worked out well.

Re: First Person Test

Smooth animation. Like the way you made it look like it was walking, not just smooth, but bumpy, which was a good effect.
One more practice and you'll be really good!

Re: First Person Test

This was really good. The only flaw is that the focus is only on the weapon and the background is blurry. I don't know how to solve that though.

The only way i can think of to fix this problem is to do the first person shot and then green screen in the gun, although that would be very hard.

Re: First Person Test

I could do stock movements like in a video game and then mask it in (the green screen reflects on the gun), or I could just focus on whatever the gun is shooting at and leave the gun out of focus.

I think that you should animate the "walk" cycle like this: |       ||      |
