it's the same problem i had earlier where the color would only stay the same colors the smiley was made of... i think.
Well that clarifies it COMPLETELY
Actually, it does. The color palette, when dealing with a .GIF, defaults to only the colors used in the smily.
Try resaving the file as a .png or (.jpg is useless for emotes) yourself, or open the gif image then copy it into a new document.
Couldn't you just use the .gif files? It's openable in ms paint and gimp.
i'm very frustrated.
i'm using gimp
my foreground color is set to red.
but when i start to draw, it comes out as one of the colors of the smiley:help?
This is our problem. We can open it fine.
This one is weird... I think I'll re-do it later.
Someone needs to make an "Accusing" face.
I'd suggest taking the eyes from "shifty" and giving it downturned eyebrows and mouth.

EDIT: I'm used to using bigger minifig heads. Unless you want one thats a bit bigger than all the others, I'm afraid I won't do it.

Goldencamera, those need transparent backgrounds. The writing is practically illegible and looks messy.

I know the writing is messy. I can't do it right because when I'm dealing with a .GIF, the color get all mixed up and I have to switch to RGB color which makes the brush all spread out and transparent so I can't do it pixel by pixel!
Use real text.
I can't. That creates a whole new layer.
Strange, I can do that in Photoshop CS3-CS5.
Give me them without text and I'll put it in.

I like it, except make the "This Is" the same size as "Sparta".
Why does he have globs of mustard on his head, and a yamukah? And why is his beard so patchy? It looks like he had a few shaving accidents.
