i'm very frustrated. 
i'm using gimp
my foreground color is set to red.
but when i start to draw, it comes out as one of the colors of the smiley:

Some programs, when handling a gif, by default only use the colour palette in the gif image.
Yeah, unless you switch it to RGB Color, which makes it weird and transparent and spread out. Help?

I decided to make a MrPurple. 
Basically I took mrgreen and made him purple.
At least he does it with a smile.
