Tick tick tick...
Best he ever composed in my opinion.
No one mentioned Jerry Goldsmith? Elmer Bernstein? Or even John Barry (who wrote one of the most famous themes ever Linky ) ![]()
Adding to my list, which previously consisted entirely of the WALL•E soundtrack:
•The Incredibles
•Sherlock Holmes
a soundtrack from Prince of Persia the sands of time! you can hear it in the trailer at 1:32, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZ7Li5w2I-k
Does anyone know the title of the song played in For a Few Dollars More during the draw between El Indio and the guy who put him in jail? With the golden watch and the organ?
John Williams
Star Wars
I also really like the soundtrack of Mass Effect 2 (which is a game). It was very epic.
Pretty much summons it all.
Oh lawd how could I forget the The theme music to Moon by Clint Mansell
I freakin' love this piece of music ![]()

Don't agree, plus, don't kill me but I don't think Star Wars is that great ..
*Points gun to vik's face*
No just kidding, but I don't really think of the soundtracks most at the time, star wars is one of the few films I actually am interrested in the soundtrack(which says that I'm a star wars fanbooy).
Mostly I like to go with star trek and Michael Giacchino (The Incredibles) Tracks , they always appears good for us and having a blasting way to enchant us with their music.
The Star Trek soundtracks, the Bird of Prey Decloaks from Star Trek 3 is awesome! Jerry Goldsmith and James Horner are some of my favorite soundtrack composers.
Even if eva97's primary function was to advertise through his/her/its signature, which has been removed, it's nice to see this thread again. Lately, I have really liked Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross' soundtrack for The Social Network. I also am anticipating Daft Punk's score for Tron: Legacy, from what I've heard of it.
Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince offcourse!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85kskMCL2Ww Amazing score!
Star Wars, by John Williams, and War of The Worlds, John Williams, Halo.
But the best is most likely Portal. Most depressing, riveting, desolate, beautiful and inspiring music from any game.
Do you mean the in-game music or this?
The Toy Story 3 soundtrack is my favourite.
-The Rock Horror Picture Show
-Any Batman Movie (including the 1960 one)
-Star Wars
-Lord of The Rings
-Conan The Barbarian
-Michael Jacksons 'This Is It' (IT COUNTS!!)
-Charlie and the Chocolate Factory
-Sherlock Holmes
-Pirates of the Carribein (sp?)
Adding to my list:
-Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves
-All the classic Pink Panther movies (I was FURIOUS when the remakes had modern pop-crap instead)
-The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (why has no-one mentioned this?)
-Once Upon a Time in the Wild West (although, the composer who did this and the 'Dollars Trilogy' does have a habit of repeating the same hook over and over again throughout the movie. It gets kinda annoying after a while, but if you just listen to any one of the tracks by itself...its beautiful)
-2001: A Space Odyssey
-Highlander (It has music by 'Queen'. Every action movie should have soundtrack done by an 80's Rock Band)
-Doctor Who Series 1, 2, 3, and 4. (Series 5 just used the EXACT SAME TRACK OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER AGAIN!!)
-75% of the James Bond Movies
