I didn't know Sorkin was working on The Social Network, I knew Fincher was directing it, but it wasn't really on my radar. Definitely know I'll be seeing it know.
Temple Grandin
I'm not sure why, but I really enjoyed it. Though at the beginning there were these inconsistent and really annoying graphics flying all over the screen to display ther way she thought about stuff or whatever, but it just seemed really dumb and tacky.
Edit: oh!
Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps Yeah, I didn't like it. (Not really any obvious spoilers, but you won't understand much if you haven't seen the film)
The only thing I found interesting was that it's not actually a real sequel or affiliated to the original Wall Street officially, only becuase Michael Douglas' ex-wife has a claim on half of what he earns on all properties prior to their divorce. But that could be absolute rubbish... I suppose that'd be on par with the film itself! oh yeah! good call, self high five.
Anyway, I liked Wall Street, the sleazy, rich and powerful involved in insider trading made it so great, and none of that is in Money Never Sleeps. First Mistake was Shia Lebeouf, seriously, get a real actor. Second was Gekko's redemption, he's a !@#$%^&, changing that ruins his callous and vindictive facade. And I was going to say that Winnie was ridiculous in that she left her partner becuase he tried to invest $100 million she didn't want into green energy, something she was passionate about. But Winne is stupid altogether.
Though Michael Douglas was great, and he had a few good lines during his book launch.
And I saw another movie this week, and I can't remember what it is. Can't have been very good.
