It's supposed to be a labcoat.
It doesn't look like a labcoat to me. 
Well lego never made any labcoats and that is the closets thing they have.
My is WAY better, plus it looks like a super labcaot to me. Yay, Super Labcoat Man to the rescue!!!

L Man's might not be mad; he could just be a scientist having a bad hair day. I like MadLib's lab equipment, especially the microscope made out of legs. Very clever!

OK, since it seems that there will be no more entries, here are the results:
1st place: MadLibs
Your entry was very nice; the lab equipment really made it for us (although the cape really looks more like a super hero outfit than a lab coat).
2nd place: L Man
Your entry was good, in fact we liked the body of your guy better than MadLibs' one. However, we purposely said no mad scientists, and yet you gave the fig mad scientist hair.

Make a guy who looks like he always has some boring meeting to attend. Or sits in a cubicle all day.

Okay, my guy is not original, but this is a very cliche theme. Therefore I think I did alright.
