Are you judging by fidelity to the original, or are you encouraging various interpretation? If you want everyone to simply recreate that character in LEGO minifigure form, you're going to get a lot of homogeneous entries. I think you'll get much more interesting and varied results if you encourage people remix and interpret the character, or even just the idea of the character.
