Topic: Life like animation + experimenting

As production for Advice From a Stranger goes on, I want the animation to be life like and less cartoony or such. I have done some tests (almost all fight ones are inspired by Grace) and hopefully should get better at lifelike animation in the future. Please critique at will so I can get better. mini/smile

Also if you could, please don't comment on the constant light flicker. I am on vacation and don't have lamps at where I stay. mini/smile

Yes that was a 4 frame walk cycle that I didnt realize I was animating mini/XD (animating gets me into a trance sometimes mini/dizzy )

Re: Life like animation + experimenting

Well, VIM, you've managed make this quite lifelike.  The swings have that extra movement to them, and they don't just STOP on a dime, which is good, as we don't tend to do that unless we're in a choreographed dance or something.  mini/lol  I have to agree with mobile that that walk cycle was a wee bit stiff, but knowing that it's a 4 frame walk cycle helps.  mini/cat  The moving brick, too, was pretty smoothly done, and the trail it left behind looked fantastic.

Those were really good. Some of the movements seemed a little too fast, but other then that it was really realistic.

Re: Life like animation + experimenting

Anything else? Also if you guys specified which movements seemed a little too fast, it would be of great help to me.
