So, I can have 100% just Lego animation as long as it has something no one's seen before?
And on excessive violence, what kind of violence on a scale of 1 to 10 would you be allowed to have?
Basically -- "no one's seen before" isn't probably as good a way to think about it as simply trying to think outside the box a little. As far as violence is concerned, we're mostly wanting to lots of avoid lots of onscreen deaths, or blood and gore.

He was actually the first one to do it. We just all followed his lead. 
ORPHANS is being canned.
One of the reasons we are not finishing production on this film is because we have too many projects to film at once, some of which, are larger than ORPHANS. Another reason, is the effects. We anticipated too much out of the effects we had, when we noticed that the effects weren't always to our liking. Some other reasons we are quitting production is because of: lack of intriguing sets, batteries for our camera, & excessive editing. We know we caused a bunch of anticipation & hype for this film, but we decided it was time to end it. We will post an update concerning this subject on YouTube soon. We are sorry to all of you, even those who weren't looking forward to this film

The opening sequence for my entry is coming along great. 
I think the music I am using for it really helps

I won't be able to get an entry in now. Besides, even if I did make a quick little thing up, it would be rushed, so probabally unenjoyable to watch. Hopefully I'll see the next one in time to make an entry.
BTW Kinzcove, I'm sorry I haven't got you lines in ages, in fact I'm recording some right now,

Unfortunately I must face the fact that, in 3 weeks, I cannot make a contest-winning video worthy of entry. I have a pretty good idea and all, but I don't have the skills needed to make it the way I want. Plus, it would be a heck of a lot of work and I do not want to rush it. So, I decided, I will hang on to my idea, but for now I will focus on making short LEGO Animation and other films for Youtube. This will help me practice and I will get used to making more quality films. Someday, I will make this movie, but not for the Avant-Garde contest.

I'm still rather determined to start making a film for this.
YEAH BABY, finally getting some work done!
btw, Smeagol, my film does have a death in it but it isn't going to be very violent, (there won't be any blood or gore). I'd take it out but the whole film is kinda based on it. And also because I can't wait to animate it.
Yeah, I don't know if I'll have time to enter, because of I need to animate two more scenes THEN get all the lines I've bee waiting for, then edit them and the rest of the sound effects. Then upload it, this'll might be the third time I've tried to enter into a contest and failed hard again.
