So I thought Forrest would be alright for my A-G entry, and he said he'd do the line also. I've been in luck.
How are you getting all the top brick filmers to do lines for you? Keshen, scypax, fancypants, forrestfire, darth milo and so on.
I've started my entry. Maybe a month is enough time.
I will give it ago, but i don't think my film will make it in time or qualify as Avant-Garde.
well, school is starting in 3 days and I have only animated less than 20 sec. I don't think I can enter.

I sincerely doubt Forrest would take the time to even read a PM you sent him. Just sayin'.

First, you upload your film file (compressed as a .mov, .avi, or .wmv) to the interwebs. Then you send a link to the film as a Private Message to this account along with your name.
Then, in between July 20th and July 25th, you can upload your film to YouTube publically, and post it as a video response to this video.
What part is confusing you?
When I look at the events thread. It says that films may not be sent until the beginning of July, yet it says they may not be made publicly until the deadline. Yet if you look at the thread it says you can upload it to YouTube as early as July 20, 2010. Although it says on the events thread, that it may not be uploaded until the deadline.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean, but I agree it's a bit confusing. Basically, you can submit your video on YouTube as early as July 20th; however, you should not post your video before that in any way and if you're not submitting on YouTube (say you're hosting it on media fire or something) then it should not be posted in the forums or something public like that until the 26th. The 20th rule for YouTube was basically just because I wanted to give youtubers who aren't up on this site a bit of a grace period.

If you have made your film public before July 20th, then you did it wrong. The film should not be on the internet before July 20th. The forums are part of the internet. You did exactly what the rules specifically said not to do:
The video can not be available online prior to July 20th.
Sorry I didn't mean to triple post! I couldn't find the delete button! As for my mishap with the posting: can I still post it on June 20th? (Just to let you know, I haven't posted it on BiM!) sorry if I've upset you in anyway!:o
No, you can't post it on June 20th (the past now.) You can't post it on July 20th either, except on YouTube. You can post it publicly, online, anytime after July 26 but not before.
