will this be on mac too?
on it you should be able to drag an individual image to stretch the individual time length
Definately onion skinning. I would like to be able to switch between frames, choose what FPS, and some sort of function to easily do lip syncing. Or a thing to add mouths to pictures. It's a lot, but I hope you guys can do it.
A really useful feature would be a grid, and markers, so we can see where we want the parts to go.
Be able to adjust footage resolution from SD to HD.
Be able to adjust footage resolution from SD to HD.
An image stretcher would make the quality worse and HD is overated and can only be usefull if your computer is good enough to handle it.
If you could make HD faster to take then I would use it. If it takes a minute a frame like monkey jam on my computer no.

Make sure the frame capture window isn't the same size as the picture resolution like monkeyjam, so to use HD you don't have to use scroller bars to see what's actually IN the picture
My Ideal BrickFilming Software
Onion Skinning
HD and Widescreen Export
No Capture Limit
Compatible for Mac and PC
Motion Blur + additional effects
Built in image editor software
Works with any camera
FPS settings (Manual Settings)
Audio sync
Masking program built in
Choose individual frame length (otherwise the default FPS)
Editor (titles, other effects, import video files)
Import other frames, then choose FPS
Basically a mixture of Photoshop/GIMP, MonkeyJam/iStopMotion, Barfan, Audacity, and Vegas. Although, this would never be free. Around $100.
Forget the editor part, it'll just really complicate things and we already have our own proper editing software. FPS choosing, duplicating frames, onion skinning and widscreen will be enough to make me happy. And masking too as an extra if possible. Has this begun production yet? What stage is it in?
Yeah I know the editor part was kind of over the top, but I'd like to see some sort of small, PiTiVi like, editor in it.
When should we expect the release?
Yeah, I like the sound of this!
I would like an editing studio built in. And a really good one not like crappy WMM. Masking program built in sounds good too. And like JK said. Are you sure this is free? I mean if all of our ideas become something in it like all of Splodge's ideas then it would be great if it was free! But all these options sounds like you'd have to pay an awful lot. Know what i mean?

make it so you can add sounds and titles but more then one sound at a time so we dont have to import video over and over just to add some sounds in a spot

Unlimited? 4K is almost overkill for stop-motion.
