All this flashsideways, time skipping and Desmond's conscious time traveling.  There's probably more to be revealed about Hawkings and the island's affect on time.

Anyways, it does seem like Widmore is the villain all along.  And I think he needed Jacob to be dead in order to return to the island.  Now all we need is Desmond to come back.

Regarding the question of which Kwon, I think it's obvious by now it is not Sun since she stayed in the present while the other candidates went into the past.

EDIT: My guess is that was what had to be done to give Locke his memories of the island. A near death experience, just like Charlie and Desmond. And do you think Desmond survived the well?

Perhaps Penny didn't remember because she's never been on the island. Also, consider that Desmond and Charlie had to both nearly die to begin remembering.

I dunno but from the promo it seems like the Man in Black is using Sayid to try to kill Desmond or something.
