Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Unfortunatly, i've destroyed most of the set by now, but here is most of it:

It was supposed to be a pool, filled with real water, the side of the pool was made with flat grey bricks, and they were held up with posts.

Don't be fooled, my avatar is a facade of conformity.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Lego is terrible at holding water. You would have to cover the inside of the pool with clear tape or something.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Okay, it looks like bricktrick.de allows you to do whatever you want with their music as long as you credit them / let them know about it.  So that should be fair game.

Wait, you thought that LEGO was watertight? olol

Cling film looks like water when animated (well) in stop-motion.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Once, I built a boat entirely out of basic bricks.
Surprisingly, it worked.

I'm back. Possibly.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Why not putting blue bricks instead of water, I did it in a great scale, it worked.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

I have a great film idea that is so original to the brickfilming community that if I see any similar videos to mine that are made AFTER mine, I might just so make a comment that may cripple their brainzzz. mini/devil (not really, but they WILL know of their wrongdoings.)

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

I've had so many film ideas since AG was first announced... I still have a few, though whether or not I'll actually pursue making one is another matter entirely.

I never plan on buying anything when I go to the Lego Store.
Strangely enough, I always wind up finding something that makes me ditch those plans.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Hey guys, I've finally got an idea, so keep your eyes on the Audio section thanks.

I'm writing the script right now... expect the auditions to pop up within 7 days or so.

After a five year hiatus, I have returned

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

I ditched my A-G video, and it was almost done.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Great, I might have had time to enter AG after all, but then my lamp broke. mini/madhead

You can do anything, just have fun while doing it.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

I might enter Pie Island, if I finish it by then. It doesn't violate any of the rules.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

Yes, I have been having a rather hard time thinking of a good idea. I got confused at first with the "something that has not been done before" and that was all I read so I had been thinking of doing an Olympic themed clip about a man that strives to do something no one thinks is possible but is being pulled back by his coach. Any ideas? I am troubled..................

Thanks again guys.

Re: BiM 2010: Avant-Garde [CLOSED]

We finished about 5 more scenes for our Avant-Garde entry! mini/bigsmile We may have to redo a few though do to light-flickers.  The concept is working out well though, and we are thinking up more and more things to add to it as we go along! If we get too many ideas, this film may last much longer that its originally-planned 4-5 minutes! mini/wink
