You get to buy dip in Red Dead Redemption, haha.
I just got Red Steel 2 today! It's very awesome game with a lot of sword-slinging and gun-shooting action. I don't have anymore money on me for a few days, but I've got one of the coolest first-person shooters out there, so it's worth it! ![]()
It may surprise you to know that they only stopped making the PSone in 2006 when the PS3 came out. They're still making PS2s and selling games as a PS4 next year is very possible.
There is a demand for another generation, like I said consoles are at least two steps behind PCs and probably more. The PS4 is a definite possibility which would make Nintendo and M$ follow suit and release their own next gen consoles.
I sense Sony is up for a win.
Sony stopped producing games for the ps2 in '06/07, only third party developers bother with it anymore. The difference between the PS/PS2 and the PS3, is that the first two were massive successes, they are the best selling consoles of all time, and then the ps3 sits like 10 places below, which is made even worse by the fact that console gaming is begger then ever nowadays.
I don't think sony's gonna waste the opportunities given by the massive first party titles coming out soon, and the motion controller, I think they want to see the ps3 all the way until it reaches its peak, and since sales are only just starting to pick up, I don't think thats gonna be anytime soon.
And Sony'll cancel the ps3 much sooner than they did the ps2, becuase the ps3 sales will be very poor once the new generation is released, seeing as the ps4 will probably only be a fraction of the price since they won't be having to handle with the new cell processor/blu-ray technology. E3 2011 is the earliest I can see sony announcing the PS4.
You have to also remember Sony's PR is !@#$ a lot of the time, they released the 250GB PS3 slim like a month after they announced they would never have a 250gb ps3.
I feel a bit like a nerd after writing all that.
BC" still not working on my PC so my friends let me try on PS3. It's really great fun. I'm so disappointed in not having the opportunity to actually enjoy the game on my PC.
Silent hill RULEZ! I am very good at this, in two days I got to the first boss fight.

After a combination of googling, network know-how and technical ingenuity involving a stupidly long modem cable and food bag ties, I have successfully turned my old iMac G5 into an access point for our DS Lites. The firewall took a little sideways thinking to get past, but it turns out the same ports for the Wii work for the DS. Only downside is you need to be on the same floor as the mac to pick it up.
PM me if you want my friend code. ![]()
Wow, but I am talking of silent hill 5 the third boss is the final one

I don't think there's a demand for a new generation. I only see demand for a new Wii. If you look a message boards and such, people hate the thought of a new generation of consoles. I hate the thought as well. Many people have invested hundreds of dollars in DLC, plastic instruments, and various other accessories that they don't want to give up anytime soon.
In the past, new consoles came out every five years or such because they were falling behind graphically, and the only way to add new features was by releasing a new console. Now, firmware updates can add new features and support for any new accessory the console manufacturer wishes to release. Look at Move and Natal. In the past, Sony and Microsoft would have to have had released a new console to support those devices.
Sure, maybe graphics aren't as impressive compared to high-end PC titles, but console owners don't really care about what a PC can do. And Xbox and PS3 graphics still look great (look at Uncharted 2). Not to mention, PS3 games are looking better and better each year (I'm not sure if Xbox games have much room to expand graphically, but don't quote me on that since I have no proof).
I'm satisfied with the generation of gaming ATM.
Oh, and Brick by Brick, you're not amazing at Silent Hill. It's an easy game. Go to the paragraph named "Silence isn't Golden".
This is so much better than video games
5 the homecoming

I don't think a new Wii is necessary.
You don't look at what people want in terms of a new generation because history has shown they will never ever give us what we want. You have to look at where technology is currently, consoles are defiantly behind compared to the rest of computers.

But how does that generate demand?
Because new games won't be able to run on the current consoles. MAG cannot possibly run on a 360 and it only just made it to PS3, Crysis didn't make it to either, Crysis 2 will have a port to 360 apparently.
You see?
