Indeed it is (which reminds me, I need to go buy Battlekid...)

But the SNES was capable of creating better experiences. Just like the PS1 was capable of creating better experiences than the SNES.* I don't believe that a new machine would offer better experiences than what is currently on the market.

*I'm not saying all SNES games are better than all NES games, but that it had the potential to make better games. Super Metroid is vastly superior to the original Metroid, for example.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say GOWIII looks better than Crysis. Crysis has been the benchmark for games graphic-wise for like 2 or 3 years, and becuase it looked so good when it came out, everyone jumps to the conclusion that nothing will be able to beat it.

I've just looked at a couple of screenshots, and wow, GOWIII looks way better!
I'd like a better reason for a new console generation, because what I've seen, PC gaming is no better graphically than PS3 gaming at these stages.

And Crysis 2 is being developed for all consoles, hopefully they don't just port it to the consoles, becuase I'd very much like to compare the game on ps3 and pc.
