Yeah my last post was about console exclusives. IMO console gaming is way better.
We've got a massive plasma flatscreen (something absurd, like 2m), a surround sound system and comfy sofas. I would have to be crazy to rather sit in a chair leaning on a moniter half a meter from my face.

I've been playing the Bad Company 2 demo a bit (well actaully, I played it for 2 days then they 'turned off' the demo because its coming out next week.) I wasn't the biggest fan of Bad Company 1, but this game. omfg.
Its amazing. Saying the realism and landscapes is/are freaking amazing, would be an understatement. I am so getting this next week.
It has been described as better than MW2, which I love, and I might just have to agree with those people from what I've seen so far.
This game is sooooo much more tactical, teamwork is an absolute must, the maps are HUGE, there are tons of vehicles, tactics, and it can go up to 12 v 12, with squads of 4. I am sooo pumped about this game, I just cannot wait, it's going to be awweeesome.
(Oh and free DLC on the first day I believe)
OK then. A hint of sexuality and language is fine, and as long as the violence isn't gory it's fine. Hell, inFamous has a good bit of all three. I was talking the excessive stuff. But if Uncharted isn't as excessive as the reviewer said it was, I'll definitely look into it.
Uncharted isn't excessive at all (either of them). I'd say the first one has more swearing than the second, but neither is over the top. And you can skip the implied sex scene.
Definitely get them, they're fantastic.
Ooh, OK then. But actually, they didn't have Uncharted at the store (sold out) so I got Bad Company instead. Now I just have to wait until I go home Sunday to play it.
Yes, Bad Company 2 improves on every wrong of Bad Company. The DLC will be on the first today, but I'm taking my time. I'll probably download it like a week after. I'm angry with IGN for giving Bad Company 0.7 less marks than MW2 got, that's just ridiculous. 8.9? Ugh!
I read IGN's review. I had more of a problem with how the reviewer kept comparing it to MW2 than the score itself. I think comparisons to other games should stay out of a review (unless you're comparing game mechanics to help the reader understand how the controls feels, like "As in MW2, you hold down the left trigger to aim").
I'm curious as to how MW2 would've scored if the same reviewer also scored MW2. He seemed to like MW2 more, but that doesn't make sense to me because many of his complaints towards BC2 could be directed at MW2, as well.
I would've given MW2 a 7.0 myself, so if BC2 has a better multiplayer package than that (with a supposedly similar campaign) then 8.9 seems like a pretty fair (if not generous) score, to me, at least. For the record, I haven't played BC2, so all of this is just speculation.

Yeah, the MW2 comparison reminds me of how when Sonic and Sega All Stars came out everyone immediately thought "MarioKart ripoff". I find that you can get bored with MW2 in the time space of about an hour. I honestly can't play it for longer. I just get sick of the gameplay. It won't pull you back in.
8.9 is fairly generous, but considering the work EA have put into that, I'm quite angry. I'll get over it though. 4 days! Although, I'm getting it on the 11th because that's my birthday.

I do understand all these comparisons, (with MW2) because BC2 is so good, but they are completely different games:
BFBC2 is much more tactical, realistic, much bigger maps (I mean freaking huge maps) VEHICLES , and just generally better (even though I've only played the demo .)
Oh and free dlc on the first day, which contains a night map! Awesome!
And another reason... You get the limited edition for the same price as the normal game would be! (Only in certain stores)
I just played RoN with my dad and brother. We were on the same team against two moderate computers. Moderate is really hard on RoN.
