First of all, you probably want a webcam. Webcams are cameras that hook up to your computer.
Here's one that most brickfilmers use, and is very good. I use it, myself. Here is the Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 at Amazon.

Don't get a digital camera, it will be harder to start out with. Get a Webcam, as I've said.
