I Crap I don't know how to upload a photo.

Have you figured it out yet? Because if not, here's how:

I use Flickr, and I only really know how to do this with Flickr and Imgur.

Step 1:

Go to the picture in your photostream that you want to post. For example I'll use this one.

https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7316/13920547890_4f5edf44f0.jpg

Step 2:

Then hit the share icon. You'll get a small menu from that. Make sure you click the BBCode button.

Choose what size you want, and copy the URL information.

Then you go into BiM and paste it. It will give you a bunch of information you may or may not want, just play around with it. Hit Submit and there you go, picture.

Loïc! That is amazing! I literally gasped when I saw that. I love the lighting, the trick that you used to get the result, and the atmosphere you created. Amazing job!

Thought I'd have a go at it as well:

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Nice frame, Zach.

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

That looks really good Zach. I like the out of focus background.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Alright and the winner is... *drum roll*  ...Loïc!

I am really blown away with the lighting and I love how you interpreted the theme.

@Zach, the frame is really good as well. The way the light hits his face really sells it.

Well done to both of you and thank you for entering! As it goes, Loïc it's your turn to pick the theme.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Thank you!

Convergence is the new theme.

The process or state of converging:
the convergence of lines in the distance

The convergence of different ideas, groups, or societies is the process by which they stop being different and become more similar.

Don't forget what Cinematography is. You have to focus on lighting, composition and atmosphere.

The deadline is Wednesday, May 14.

Good luck mini/wink

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Does this have to be completely in camera?

I would guess not as Mindgame used some editing to add writing to his chalk board.

You're right Squid. This does not have to be completely in camera. However I recommend to use in-camera techniques as much as possible.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I was just wondering, because I want to blur some objects but I can't in camera.

I hope this counts, I know it's a stretch with the theme.
