I would hazard a proposition that the boulder is truly converging on the man, and that it's a legitimate and hilarious entry, but the final choice is up to you Loic. I've always heard converge used with two coming together as well as one coming to the other. (Police converging on the scene of the crime, for example.) But that does seem to be an unstated and slightly mis-used sense of the word according to the dictionary.

It's always good to have an entry that is slightly different and diverges from the theme.

Nevertheless, this is not gonna change the results. Aiwha's entry has the best lighting, and this is a cinematography challenge.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

I feel like you may have made the slant too extreme.

(Squid saying it's too slanted, what is wrong with me)

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

My first entry to this challenge. Not the most original interpretation of the theme, but it works I think.

Cheers. I've found that my smartphone's screen is very useful for getting lighting of a specific colour tone.

You're right, that's a very useful tool.

And the winner is… Jayem !
I think the composition of your shot could be better, but the overall was very nice.

Rockydude411Bricks, I liked the colors of yours, but I don't think a slant as extreme as that is appropriate for that aspect ratio.

Re: Cinematography Challenge (Read Rules First)

Thanks! I'm pleased to have won (on my first attempt!), but it would have been nice to have a little more competition.

So I choose and judge the next theme?
