Runway - An entry to "Walk This Way"

Yay! I'm finally back filming again! I took ages working on this, and though it isn't perfect (Quality changes, "aspect ratio" especially, etc.) I am very proud of it. Hopefully you'll enjoy, and thanks for taking the time to watch. A huge thanks also to Stan the Lego Man and Thefourmonkeys.

LegOpinions, that was beautiful! The walk cycles were very nice, and the idea was superb! Definitely the best animation I've seen so far in the fourmonkey's contest (But just wait until you see our entry mini/tongue ).

Overall: 4/5

Question: Do you do something special for noise reduction? I can't see any noise and I use the exact same equipment as you.

The resolution turned out to be much smaller than the original for some reason and the mpeg-4 compression really made it look pixealated.

But before that, I took away the grain with after effects

Re: Runway - An entry to "Walk This Way"

I must say, I am very pleased with the feedback thus far. I am so glad you all liked it! As for the quality Goldencam, well, Stan pretty much summed it up. I found that before any editing was done to it, it was pretty mediocre - but I must say what an incredible job SLM (Stan the Lego Man) did with special effects and everything, it was very effective and made the final product a lot more pleasing to the eye.

For any of you wondering about why the quality or aspect ratios differ, it's because the animation was shot on the Logitech Pro 9000 (For more info read the above comments) and the singular images shot on my Samsung HMX R10, which size is 4000 x 3000, as apposed to the noticeably lower 1600 x 1200 of the Logitech. Hopefully this didn't take away from the animation, which was essentially the thing I wanted most to be good.

So yeah, I'm back from my mind.

Re: Runway - An entry to "Walk This Way"

The animation was great. I particularly liked the hat coming off. The pictures were a bit dark though, especially considering they were meant to be taken with a camera's flash turned on.

Re: Runway - An entry to "Walk This Way"

Lighting, animation, and special effects were really well done.  At times the quality was lost but still this has a real good chance of winning the "Most Creative" walk cycle I think.  Keep animating!

Woah. I love the lighting on those camera shot's it's stunning. The camera flashes are really cool as well. I think this stands the highest chance of winning out of all the entries.

That was amazing! Well done LegOpinions, and I am sure you will win! Best I have seen!
I found the walkway stuff a tad blurry. But the close ups and lighting were fantastic!
Well done!
