Topic: A Baseplate?

Ok, Im trying to find this baseplate but cant. Its like an 8 x 16 thick baseplate? Like the ones Forrestfire101 uses? Can you buy them on Lego.com as a seperate brick? If so can you show my? And if not can you show me what sets you get them in? Cheers.

Could you please post a link to the film (and Lego piece) that you are referring to?

It's not a very good one though. They don't have any in production at the moment as far as I know.

Inscor's talking about something that's effectively an 8x16 brick - like a big plate but the height of a brick. I have green and light grey ones from the '80s and a couple of dark bley ones from a recentish set.

A bit of a search on peeron.com reveals that this might be the droid you're looking for. There's a table on the right of that page with links to bricklink stores that have them in stock.

Now how's that for helpful?

Re: A Baseplate?

Ah, yes. I have some of those. I got them from some Harry Potter sets.

Re: A Baseplate?

Well, the one forrestfire101 uses is one he made. He had a bunch of those darker Grey plates and just put a whole bunch of them over some bricks. I don't think you can buy something like what he has.

Re: A Baseplate?

I recommended him to the site, thank you, and I think it doesn't kill to bump something this recent. Now if it hadn't had a post in a 6 months or more, that would be a bump.

Re: A Baseplate?

I have several of those baseplates..
Shame they aren't in production anymore.
If your parents had some lego which they kept (like at your grandparents or something)...
You could ask them!

Re: A Baseplate?

I believe this or this is the brick you are reffering to. I have many of these (but I am not willing to give them away), but as there dont seem to be any in sets at the moment, bricklink is your best bet.
