Re: Magical Stop Motion COMPETITION from Smoovie [CLOSED]
Jstudios, was that to me?
Anyway, I don't have anything much to do today, so I'm going to try to spend the whole day animating, otherwise I probably won't ever get going.

Both of you. You're both going to trash me.
Mine's only like, a minute long and you said you had a really original idea, whereas mine, well, isn't.
Hi Jstudios and Onion,
Yes of course here is a link to the Smoovie logo and also the icon. Hope they are useful

Thanks. I think I may make another entry, are we allowed to make two?
I'm probably gonna make something for this
You've caught my attention. I'll try wip up something, only problem is I wish I could have found this thread a bit earlier. So I have about 16 days to script, animate, edit...
I knew buying every single harry potter lego set available would pay off!
That's a little more supernatural/paranormal IMO.
I would totally enter this if I didn't already have the Hogwarts set.
Looks like me and Jstudios are doing a co-pro! I won't say much, but it's gonna be... AWESOME.
Looks like it's two against one, I'm going to get mashed!
Anyway, my entry's coming along pretty well. I'm using 20 FPS again, so it's looking good. My cousins are coming round in a few days though, so I've only got until Tuesday to finish this, may have to work nights. Great.
Hi, I have a question.
If we have music in it that is copyrighted, but we give all credit to the makers, would that be acceptable? Also, if YouTube allows it, would you...? Because it's hard to come across un-copyrighted music for most people I'm sure.
Thanks,
Onion
Great, due to the royal wedding I'm getting Friday off, so I'll have all of Friday to work on my film as well as all of Saturday (it says it ends at midnight, I may have to take advantage of that). I can't believe how much I've done in such a short time, my film's going to be over 6 minuites by the looks of things.
I'm really looking forward to Onion and Jstudios' entry too, this competition has such a good theme.
Good luck to everyone thats entering, may the best animator win (although it may not be any of us on this site, but if it is someone on this site then... .....yeah you know what I mean).
I'm just posting here to ask if Onion already submitted our entry, the one about the Moustached Magician. Anyway, can't wait to see more entries, especially from you Filmfire.

That's the same for me. I'll probably have to stay up to midnight. My film looks as if it will only be 3 minutes long.
I have to say that it's a great competition that Smoovie's created. Good luck to everyone.
I wish I knew about this earlier.
I might enter a short film, very short, but let's see if I get the time. : P
Man, I'm knackered! It's twenty past 9 and I'm just finishing the animation, leaving tomorrow to edit. I'm a bit worried my lamps are going to go into meltdown or something, I've been animating for a good few hours straight. But the films looking good, I think you guys are gonna like it. It's linked to TMH. I think it's going to be around 7 minutes, my second longest brickfilm (or any other kind of film for that matter).
