Just goofing around while building a corridor and blocking it for a pan. The laser effect was done in 4 frames in photoshop. With the fall, I was kind of aiming for some of that focus on physical movement that other folk have been looking at but it didn't work out so well.
I think it would work better if the figure didn't fall on his knees at all. I did some fall tests a while back, which are now on my Youtube, that might work here.

I think it would be perfect if it wasn't so sudden and choppy. I think you pretty much know all the flaws, so I won't bother pointing them out to you. But a nice effort, methinks.
The effect seemed to work pretty well but the animation on the other hand was a bit choppy.
EDIT: At the second viewing, the effect looks a bit weird when the frame rate is low, maybe you should just speed the whole "transformation" process, then it won't look so odd.

not that bad the video was slow.But the effect was nice
