Well, look at it this way. A guy from around here was boyfriend for a few years to a girl who eventually dumped him in a last (relatively) second decision to be a nun, changed her mind and got back together, and then dumped him again. At least you can't be crushed that deep mini/tongue

Owch, you made me feel better. Thanks mini/smile

I have a long history of doing amazingly stupid and embarrassing things when it comes to girls. I kissed a girl in kindergarten (got teased for ages, I can't even talk to her now without feeling stupid mini/tongue ), I confessed my love for two different girls in the course of a year (can't talk to those two either mini/lol ), and I asked a girl out in sixth grade. She told me that we'd try it for a day, so I spent the next day doing embarrassing things to try and win over her affection, but it didn't work. Later I found out she just said that so she wouldn't hurt my feelings, which made it hurt even worse. But we're friends now, and we tease each other about it.

That actually crushed my confidence and self-esteem a lot and I'm actually only now being able to talk to girls and have the confidence to ask them to dances and stuff. I don't really want a girlfriend currently, but I'd certainly like one in a year or two.

There's this one girl that I like. She went to the homecoming dance with my best friend. After that, we started talking. I thought maybe she liked me, but now I think she might like one of my other friends. I hope her homecoming date doesn't have feelings for her. This could be interesting...we'll see how it turns out...

Oh my god. Are you okay?

Today SUCKED. Today we had a Valentine's Day party and WOW. First, legoruler dared me to put a candy-heart that says "Let's Kiss" on it on this girl's desk, her name is Tiffany. Then, he told me to put a lolipop, shaped like a heart, on her desk. THEN, he dared (EDIT: triple dog dog dog dog dared) me to hit on her mini/eek That was total PAIN. I HAD TO HUG HER!!! OMG!!!

Hugging a girl isn't really a bad thing.

Re: The Love Thread!

I can name all the countries in Western Europe without looking at a map, so I'm too smart for a girlfriend.

Re: The Love Thread!

If you really like someone, you'll turn into an idiot whenever they're around. Trust me.

Good point BUT IM TEN YEARS OLD!

Re: The Love Thread!

My school does some "carnation" thing. Basically, someone pays $1 to send a card that that person wrote, and a rose. I got two of 'em. Weird, me of all people. I'm a frickin' hermit that plays Halo at least 6 hours a day. Lol. Funniest part is, neither signed a name.

Heh, Reminds me of the time when I got involed with someone in Grade/Year 7; We avoided each other even more when we were a couple than we did normally. mini/blankexpression

Re: The Love Thread!

Never had a girlfriend, closest I've gotten was two popular (and somewhat hot) girls pretending they were going out with me for a day. They insist it was real, but I know it was a joke. Anyway, I asked two girls out last year, and got rejected by both (one being a good friend of mine, luckily it didn't turn ugly). Right now I'm trying to reestablish my friendship with (and later ask out) a girl I met last year who was really friendly with me, but she's been ignoring me this whole school year, outside of two text message conversations. Not doing that well with getting any other girls, but I'm optimistic things will improve in the future.
