The Lego Library

Youtube

PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU WATCH mini/smile

THIS IS MY LATEST WORK

This is the improved version of my entry for the "Library Week Video Competition". My animating skills are improving, I suggest you watch my first ever animation called "The day the earth stood still" .
Any way Enjoy " mini/smile

NOTE: after the intro you may have to turn your sound up because of low sound recording , I don't know how it happened.

In future animations I will be able to create them to a better quality as a lot of my films have been under like a weekend to make it. But now I'm trying to have no time limit and just making these to a very good condition. Oh and yes I'm trying my best to fix the light flicker, camera movement and other stuff like that.

songs belong to:
-Closer to the edge - 30 Seconds To Mars
-September - Earth, Wind and Fire

Re: The Lego Library

I'd give you 5/5 just for hearing you singing...
But, anyway: the bookshelves where moving, the set was always the same (wich bothered me a bit), though the animation was fine and I liked the chess pieces. Overall not bad, but I'd like to see more of a story next time. 2,5/5, not bad, but lot of improvements could be done mini/wink . Keep practicing.

Re: The Lego Library

To be honest the shaking made it really hard to watch. Definitely distracting when and earthquake is going. The idea was pretty good though. And the animation was also very decent.
Try to avoid bumping your camera and props, and if you don't use a frame capture software so you don't have to touch the camera, which will help with the shaking.

4/5 for effort, would be more bearable if it was less bumpy though.

I totally agree with the shaking, it is annoying but like I said I had a weekend to do it so there isn't enough time to make every thing perfect, same goes with the set I didn't have enough time to change it.
Thanks! mini/smile

Re: The Lego Library

Well, try to use plates instead of tiles, it will defiantly help. Also, make a camera cage. If you use the QK9000, there are many tutorials online on making a cage for that, but if you don't, try to experiment with some technique bricks until you are satisfied.

Re: The Lego Library

Very good! I'm sure with more and more practice your brickfilms will be even better.
The one downside was the shakiness of the film, but overall it was really nice.

It's cold outside

Re: The Lego Library

good!
there are two bridges, however negative: the brightness and objects (shelves move). if there is a very good fluidity, contine

Re: The Lego Library

Light flicker too was a bad thing.  Submit this BiM though.  When your a great brickfilmer in the future, people can look back and see how much you've improved.

Re: The Lego Library

Honestly you need to stop bumping your own threads.

Brickfilmer a decade ago, now looking to relive the glory days mini/smile

Re: The Lego Library

This library has to be in California, because there were earthquakes all the time! Other than that, and some flicker, good job!

Because I added a post with a link of my first attempt with the film.
