Meh, It was good. Much better than I could of done, but animation wise, when he raised his arm to shoot the ball, it was a little slow. The effect was nice though.
it didn't look like a lazer... could have been more glowy. the long lines made it look kind of ugly. (no offence 
)
What are you editing it in? I know some cool effects if you can do it in Sony Vegas
I think I recognize that kind of flare from when I did some stuff on GIMP, some years ago.
