Topic: Capture Device
Well after a much too long break from filming, and a year of me trying to animate with my Powershot G9, I have given up. £70 for an AC adapter, £60 for some capture program? I don't think so. It would cost £130, which is enough for a webcam AND a capture device. So, here is the real question, with a budget of around £100 and maybe £240 if really need be, what's my best option. I know in minutes I will get people saying Quickcam Pro 9000, but I need convincing. Some films look awful, some great. Please post if you know how to use the G9 for stop-motion and help me out. I really like the lenses on DSLR's and Compact cameras but are webcams good, or are old DV camcorders better?
