Topic: The Hand Of God

Here

Things to be aware of:

1. This film is about football. Proper football. The one you're supposed to play with your feet.
2. It was commissioned by talkSPORT radio for their online magazine. I had very little say in the subject matter.
3. It refers to an actual moment in World Cup history that the English are still quite prickly about. Everyone else in the world has probably forgotten about it by now. Everything up to the point where the police arrive actually happened, mostly.
4. talkSPORT have exclusive rights for a month or two, so I can't put it on youtube yet. You have to go through their online magazine.
5. The commentary was added after I submitted it to them. There are sweary words and language in it. If words for lady parts and the things that men like to do with lady parts are not your cup of tea, then don't watch it just yet. I'll put a cleaner version on youtube when I'm allowed to.
6. The online magazine contains scantily clad young ladies. Objectifying women is bad, mm'kay.

Light flicker can SUCK it!

Re: The Hand Of God

Nice work as always!  Your original version of the narration was significantly better, I think; sad that they soiled on it like this but I guess that's the risk you run with doing work on commission.

Holland still remembers. mini/wink

Anyways, you did some great work here. Loved the "looking worried now..." part.

Re: The Hand Of God

Great work. I love how you realized the stadium crowd

Re: The Hand Of God

I'm old enough to remember this. Very polished and enjoyable.
The big man's hair, the crowd and Englands defence all awesome.
I like the background changes and the prison set as well.
Bravo Chris.

Fantastic job, man. Really great work on the camera panning and ball special effects, they both were incredibly smooth and fluid. I agree with KG, the stadium crowd was achieved wonderfully.
