Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

It says he last signed in 2 weeks ago.  Meh, hopefully he'll remove it.

Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

I just got a comment on my Bunnies 3 video. Saying "it's racist and offensive". mini/madhead
Are you serious? It's A BUNNY!!! mini/bigsmile

Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

To be fair he said "slightly", and In a way it is slightly racist.

Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

I never thought of it as being slightly racist until it was pointed out.

Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

Well, I never meant it to be at all racist. It's a black bunny! mini/lol Oh well I guess mini/no

My brother is in the same boat with you, Dave. He absolutely loathes Smosh with a passion. Plus, if you're shocked at how they can be so successful, I have only to point you to Fred.

I liked Smosh for a while, and can respect some of the technical qualities that go into their videos (they at least look like they know what they're doing), but their blend of humor is definitely something you eventually grow out of. Plus, the entertainment value of their last dozen or so films have been on a steady decline. It feels like they've lost touch with what seemed to work in their old videos and are trying way too hard to be funny. The end result is just lame and over-the-top.

Barats & Bereta are much better.

MindGame, I totally agree with you, I watch them every now and then, but the Smosh Food Battles are awesome. but they're new stuff is a pathetic attempt at having humor.

I thought it was racist too. Even if it is a bunny it can still be racist.

Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

Oh, please. It's a bunny. People over analyze these things too much. Besides, black is traditionally the color to represent evil (just look at Darth Vader).

Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

Totally agree Badger

How people can get mad over the color of a lego figure mini/confused

If it's not racist then the black bunny should win some of the battles.

Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

It's just as racist as Darth Vader, the Nazgul and the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail.

EDIT: Anyways, this duckhuntchampb24 seems to be trying to find racist things everywhere. Most probably a troll.

Therefore not racist.

Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

Not end of thread. The black bunny killed a random person, but he always loses to white bunny. To make it not racist, the black bunny should beat the white bunny at least once.

Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

But it's not racist. At all. Is Star Wars racist because Darth Vader blew up  whole planet? Is Monty Python racist because the black knight got sliced to bits? No, neither of them are racist. Unless the director was trying to make some sort of commentary about black people, there's no racism. End of discussion.

Did you ever consider that one of the reasons racism is still around is because people are actively looking for it? (IMO anyway)

EDIT: And really, it's a cute LEGO bunny. How can you even find racism in that?

That statement doesn't make much sense.

The bunny's color reflects cultural standards. It's no more racist than wearing black clothes at a funeral is. If the bunny had specifically been "African-American" (through speech or behavior) you could have made a case for racism, but that wasn't what was there.

Re: YouTube Jerk Thread

Thank you everyone. :] I'm glad there are still people out there that aren't freakin' out about stupid things like cute little animation kids toys being racist.
And yes the black bunny did win in the 3rd movie.
it's not his last win either... [/foreshadowing]
