Re: Ed night

Nice use of black and white and smooth animation, I will have to finish it later but I like it so far.

Go Forth & Create!

Re: Ed night

nice one

Re: Ed night

A little choppy, but Awesome Cinematography!!!  Good job! mini/smile

Re: Ed night

What FPS was that because it looked alittle slow

Re: Ed night

the animation was a little slow, but the camera movements and the cinematography were very nice.

Re: Ed night

Yes the animation wasn't perfect, but this is extremely well done. Your style is incredible, I love the cinematography, even though the camera turns might seem a bit over-done after a while it still didn't bother me much (I for one love camera turns like that). Nice story, this looks like a set-up for some sequels, me likey.
Hope to see more! mini/bigsmile

Re: Ed night

Everything was really nice, the cinematography, lighting, and the sets, but the FPS could have been a little faster. 4/5 mini/smile

Re: Ed night

Thank's for the good evaluation.
The most fps was 12 but in some scenes even more .. yeah, I think there is more capabilities for my work. The plan for the distant future containes a prequel and a sequel, but first some other projects.

There ist still one question for my part remaining .. what do you think about the language? Is it properly?

Re: Ed night

I have to ask, how did you create the bullet and everything?

With some 3D program like blender probably.

Yes, that's right. But I still don't know anymore how I did the convert of the dat, because in the movie are "Lego" on studs, with LeoCAD this is not possible. And many time of rotoscoping mini/wink

Re: Ed night

Wow! Very nice! mini/bigsmile  I loved how you used CGI in there, and I especially enjoyed the bullet animation sequence! That blew me away! mini/lol (No pun intended. I did not catch that until after I wrote that part.) The music was really good, and it fit the scenarios very nicely! In the infiltration part, it kind of felt like watching Splinter Cell, which to be honest, made me like it all the more. mini/smile So how did you make the CGI clips anyway? Especially the part with the skyscraper and the CGI city in the background? That looked very cool! I hope to learn how to do that eventually. I think there were parts were the animation could have been a little better (referring the frame rate.) But despite a few parts with slow frame rate, very good! Also, how did you make the effect with camera movement in some of those shots?

(Might I add that your set design was brilliant! mini/bigsmile ) I hope this wasn't too long.

Blender.

The skyscrapers in the background are real and the white house on the left is build via photo composition.

The building was a CGI creation, because the real one was not as large as you see it. Especial on the right side were too few of the wall. The figs were shot on a blue screen and keyed .. the problem was to match the angles .. but I think it was done well enough.

Yes I know .. thats a tribut while working without remote control and onioskinning. My cam does not support these!

Reeldangerstudios wrote:

The cam never moves .. it's all yust done in post.

sry for answering so late .. I lost this topic out of my mind.
