I'm starting to consider the out-of-socket arm movements as well as they give more freedom and realism to the animation and if done well (the great example is your frame) they look really good! I remember seeing those kind of movements in Keshen8's video and I also liked the way he did it mini/smile

Yup! Thanks! I really enjoy how it looks and I agree, it adds a better since of realism in the movements. Now, I know some people might not like them because they're not a typical LEGO movement, but I think its unique looking.

Looks amazing! May I ask what the film will be about?

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

It's a sequel to my film "Patient 24". A man who find himself lost after crashing his airplane seeks help, but ends up getting caught by an ancient race of people who try to hold him hostage.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

The frame looks great!

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Thanks!

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Great film Olson, I really enjoyed Patient 24 so I can't wait for this!

Anyway, this is just a frame from Meat Quest. Trying out if Meat Quest looks better with 16:9 than it does without it, and I quite like how it looks this way so I think I'll keep it. I finished doing this scene about a week ago, but I got busy so I forgot to upload this.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

jstudios, in terms of cinematography I like it very much, but I'm afraid the quality is kinda low or is it just out of focus a little?

Here's a frame of my new film starring none other than Repelling Spider! (As the blurred man).

Looks pretty nice! The only thing is the background, there's a little wrinkle in the paper.

I'm working on getting my studio back up and running, so stay posted...

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

Yes, I noticed the background could be a bit better. The way I overcome such issues with backgrounds is to move the background further away from the set and change the aperture to blur the background a bit more so that you can't see any unwanted textures or creases. Otherwise it looks great, as I already said. mini/smile

Oops! looks like I'll need to shoot this part over, thank god it's only 4 seconds long mini/blankexpression .

Well I had to zoom quite a bit to get this shot, so it's the quality of the pic itself.

Re: Frame from Your Upcoming Film

ZachFB, is there going to be other stuff in the area around the temple? It looks rather empty the way it is now.

No need. It looks sort of like a distant airplane's smoke trail. It's better if you use your *SpongeBob* IMAGINATION. mini/wink

Two photos from my EASTER 2012 contest entry. Seeing as it's gonna be a silent film, I still have to run it through an after-effects program for the real thing. I do see the glare off of certain objects, though. Oh, well. mini/confused

Have you seen a big-chinned boy?

That's a lot better, now it looks like it's above a city, and I like the sun. mini/smile
