The guy above me deleted his post.
How about HandCar (Sets & Animation)?
And Cyclic for the Sound Track (4 songs available for free download)
Oh wait they are mine..........hehehe.
Ok what about Whittleberry's Dracula (sets) which was very fine but you probably have that one listed already.
Or I really liked ZachMG's "Gears of Solace" (Screenplay) and Keshen8 has some beauties with "Batman's Gay Roommate" (Screenplay) being one of many highlights.
Now I think about it there has been so many. vnanimation & leonardostudios for Plant (Cinematography and Visual FX)
A Clone Halloween: Gurve Meh Teh Carndy! by FancyPants plenty of excellence in many categories.
Zoot101 for Swine Flu: The Pandemic, I'm still having nightmares.
Special mention to Olsonstudios's for "Bunnies: The Hectic Hare Hassle" which had one of the best fight scenes.
Sorry if any of these have been mentioned before and my shameless self promotion.
But why the same categories this year? With so many films released, I would like to see less of the cinema influence.
Are there too many sound related ones? What about adding best comedy? Tthere would be plenty of nominations.
I think the problem comes with the genre related categories. By making one or two categories based on a certain genre or theme, many films are excluded from being a possible nominee if they are in a different category.
Example: if we did have a comedy category, and the director Juan123 creates pretty good films in the action genre, but isn't good enough for other big nominations, then he can not get a nomination due to the fact that his good films are in a different category than the ones in the BiM Awards.
A solution might be to add many genre related categories, but this would result in a very large category list, which can be a headache for judges.
I am open to sugestions though, and if that is an idea that gets strong support from the community I would be okay with adding another category or two.
NXTManiac
best "foreign" film, for directors that are not from BiM...what do you think of it?
How about HandCar (Sets & Animation)?
And Cyclic for the Sound Track (4 songs available for free download)
I would nominate those for sure. So,
HandCar (Sets & Animation)
Edit: Just realized Cyclic was mentioned already.

I nominate LEGO vs. Aliens Trailer for visual effects!!!
(Great job Builder Brothers!)
No offence......but I don't think it has some of the best visual effects of the year. I mean, they're not bad, but we're talking about the entire year........
And I don't really have anything to animate, everyone's already basically said' 'em, haha. Possibly........ "Time and Space?".......
How long does this thing last? I want to know if I have enough time to complete my new lego movie.
I think it's a bit silly people mentioning that their own film has not been suggested, just so that others can go and nominate it, even if it is good.
