Topic: 24FPS Walk Cycle Test

Well, this was originally the opening to my (failed) B.R.A.W.L entry. But, now that I don't want to show you guys my B.R.A.W.L entry because it's too embarrassing, I thought I'd show you this. This is a 9 frame walk cycle I tried out. I don't know if it was worth my 3 hours to do this much, but, meh.

Here it is.

Re: 24FPS Walk Cycle Test

Nice, what walk cylcle did you use?

You can't seriosly show us that and not post the full movie, it looks interesting, I think you should post it

IF YOU TYPE IN CAPITAL LETERS YOU WILL AUTOMATCALY WIN ANY ARGUMENT

Re: 24FPS Walk Cycle Test

Haha, I am not going to post the film. Although it's tempting, I feel my persona of a brickfilmer will be tarnished if I post it. mini/lol

Anyways, the walk cycle is like I said, is a 9 frame walk cycle I came up with. I may post a tutorial later, but, I don't know if it's good enough. mini/wink

Any more critique? mini/bigsmile

Re: 24FPS Walk Cycle Test

Come on, YOU HAVE TO POST THE FULL VERSION you can't just leave us hanging like this

IF YOU TYPE IN CAPITAL LETERS YOU WILL AUTOMATCALY WIN ANY ARGUMENT

Re: 24FPS Walk Cycle Test

The arms are too wide, but the legs look really well done. mini/smile

Re: 24FPS Walk Cycle Test

yea i agree it looked very good but unrealistic because his arms were flying up in the air like that for a simple walk

I have awesome sauce in my veins! Which i sprinkle on each of my videos to give it an extra dose of aweomseness!

Re: 24FPS Walk Cycle Test

Walk cycle looked good, but arms moved too much. And btw why do you want to animate a walk cycle at 24fps? Bit tedious, no mini/tongue?

Re: 24FPS Walk Cycle Test

Ah, yes I really want to move onto 18-24 fps, just because I would like to take this on as a profession some day, and, hey, I need all the experience I can get mini/wink

Anyways, I think the arms are a bit unrealistic too, but, I didn't notice that, at the time. mini/bigsmile
