Topic: 'Mr Socially Impaired' - The Game (Working Title)

I'm guessing you guys know about 'Youtube Games', right?

Well, after a sudden stroke of inspiration, I was wondering if there could be a Youtube Game that is a Brickfilm.

Basically, there will be a shortish clip of an event and then the veiwer will get a choice of what should happen next (Its very difficult to explain). Once the veiwer has chosen, the story will change based on the veiwers descision (I dont want there to be any right or wrong answers in this game). The idea is that the veiwer decides what happens, and therefore is fully satisfied with the plot. It also means that they are watching a different Brickfilm each time they play.

IDEAS SO FAR: (Subject to Change)

MR SOCIALLY IMPAIRED is walking through Fail-Land. However, he discoveres a TARDIS mysteriously left there. If you choose to go inside, then you will meet the Doctor.
Since the laws of time and space forbid Mr Socially Impaired to meet any other human - the whole universe becomes instantly screwed up....

There are NO right or wrong answers (though some options will be more amusing than others), and there is NO score. The aim is that there will be a different story each time to increase the lifespan of this game.

This has been done before.

Make it an adventure. Or possibly a normal day with some twists e.g. Character walks out of house - turn left/turn right?

Mmmm.... I know! It could be like "Save Max Butcher"! You would be kidnapped or something and the viewers would have to find you. You can make that idea endless with possibilites because you can really go crazy with the idea. Hope I helped! mini/smile

And save Schlaeps from TAAB, as we all know that TAAB kidnapped Schlaeps and used his account to "resign" but the second in command of the rebels and leader of the MODs Smeagol comes to the rescue, he is helped by Night Owl the explosives expert, Shale the weapons specialist, Dew Films the medic and 0ld Scratch the sniper. they fight bosses such as Zane Eastwood and the the site developers.

Sounds like a great game. mini/bigsmile

Though the idea of a FPS Brickfilms vs BIM war is the most awesome thing I have heard, I think that would be better as a game that you fully control - rather than just a descision maker. Obviously, I dont have the time, money, tools, or effort to make a 'proper' game. Sorry to disapoint you guys, but I'll let someone else do that.

I like the idea of trying to save a Brickfilmer, but maybe not me. If I got kidnapped, everyone would just party. Maybe someone else. But I think I will use your concept. Yes, it did help mini/smile

BRAINWAVE:

You are Smeagol trying to rescue Schlaeps from the clutches of TAAB and Zane Eastwood. Schlaeps has been captured by TAAB, and have escaped to an era in time. As you emark on your adventure, you meet Doctor Who. You are given an option to help him, or steal the Tardis. If you join the Doctor, you can choose an era to travel to. If you steal the Tardis, you are randomly sent to an era in time. These Eras will be Star Wars, Pirates, and Adventure (Indiana Jones). In each Era, Taab and Zane are portrayed in a different way, although Schlaeps remains the same. Smeagols appearence will change with each era though, and each storyline will be entirely different depending on your era.

There are NO right or wrong answers (though some options will be more amusing than others), and there is NO score. The aim is that there will be a different story each time to increase the lifespan of this game.

What do you guys think?

This would work well as a community project or at least community written. Also does Smeagol have a sig fig?

I'm not using Sigfigs. The people used in this game do not represent what their real life personalities. (Thats what I plan to write at the beggining of the Brickfilm anyway).

And community projects are cursed these days, so its no to that. But at least constant feedback from the community would be a good idea I suppose.

You could also face some of the BF.com mods (like myself) and choose to convert them or destroy them. However, you have to choose carefully because some will not convert (e.g. The Doctor).

Apart from the people listed in the description, there will be no more real people in the game. If I plan to go ahead with the current idea, I will have to ask the kind permission of Smeagol, and just hope that TaaB doesnt sue my mother loving ass off the face of this planet for using her name (I may have to refer to her as 'The Empress' or something if there are hints of this happening). 

Good luck 'being a' baddie when you have no sigfig and no speaking part....
