Topic: Scary signs

Howdy.

As some of you may know, I'm starting a new script for a zombie apocalypse brickfilm. I was hoping to get some ideas for something.

I'm after some ideas for a sign of which parts could be scratched away to reveal a different (scary?) message.

For example, the original sign might read:

Welcome to Happyville, where
nobody leaves unhappy!

After begin weathered and vandalised, the sign might read:

nobody leaves

Get the idea?

Anyways, I'm after ideas for signs like this.

I like the idea. I really do suck with stuff like this but I don't want to leave saying: I love the idea!
When the signs get vandalized the stuff on the signs should do what it says. Nobody Leaves: nobody wants to leave.
The main character(s) should be a couple going to the Happy land or whatever, and then get completely used.
And to add some sadness make the wife die. Or not. It's you choice.
It should be raining to add some strange effect to it.
at the beggining some teens should vandalize the signs and then get killed.

These are all suggestions. You don't have to do any of these.

Well the film is going to be a zombie apocalypse film. The shot I had in mind for this effect would be a prologue showing the city before the apocalypse, perhaps with a voiceover. You know, all happy and sunny, etc. The prologue finishes with the camera focusing on the sign. Suddenly there's a flash of lightning and it's raining, showing the current state of the sign and the city behind it).

After reading that a couple of times, "Nobody Leaves", it sent a shiver up my spine. Ah, I like saying that. Anyway, I think it's an awesome idea. Just don't overdo it.

I confess the "Hello There" one came from Batman Returns, where Catwoman has a neon sign of it in her apartment that gets broken and says "Hell here" afterward.

Of course there are also good possibilities with appending letters, like:

Haha I just watched the Dark Knight literally 10 minutes ago and I was laughing at that on the side of the Jokers semi.

I am excited for this film.

Sorry for any confusion - pleas note that "happyville" was merely an example. I have no intention of using it in my film and I was going to use a more realistic name. What that name is, I don't know yet.
