Behind-the-scenes of the greatest soundtracks featuring world renowned composer Hans Zimmer, as our guest voice actor!

This short is part of a series made for the "Film Music in Bricks" exhbition screened at the MUPOP (french music museum).

Having Mr Zimmer involved in this project was such an honor. I'm so grateful he accepted to help, and made it so sincere!

Great work, I especially like the recreation of his studio! I'm glad you got to collaborate with Zimmer on another project, and how cool that it's a brickfilm.

Wow, not often that you see Hans Zimmer and Tina Guo being credited as voice actors for films posted on here!  Great work on the short, it's very charming, and a nice representation of film music and those in it. 

As someone who started as a brickfilmer and is now pursuing film composition as a long-term career, I absolutely love that MUPOP is doing a Film Music in Bricks exhibit.  Do you happen to know if there's any other videos or materials from the exhibit being shared online at some point?

That guy probably is the coolest on Earth. He was very enthusiastic about doing it, and nailed it with some very sincere acting!

I've been directing two other shorts for the exhibition : one with Jaws / John Williams and another one with Batman / Danny Elfman.
When the exhibit's over (May 2021) I'll be uploading the two other episodes on my YouTube channel / FaceBook page. mini/wink

You really had a good idea to ask Hans Zimmer to voice act his own lego character (and it was very nice of him to accept). This adds a little more awesomeness to this beautiful brickfilm!

May we suggest you to add French subtitles on your video on Youtube? (We know people who couldn't understand what Hans Zimmer says)

I mean, Hans Zimmer is super derivative, he completely ripped of Mozart for the Lion King score.... but the animation here is phenomenal and totally on point. Great work!

Agreed that it is surprising to hear such talent in a Lego film. This video is well-made and makes one think of the contributions of musicians in film. Its strange that ehen its done really well you dont really pay attention to things like cinematography or sound design and get absorbed in the story in a film.
