The table in the background kept moving around and you may want to have the arms move along with the legs. It just looks a little more natural. If you want to look at it, here's a tutorial Nathan did on the walk cycle.

It didn't look that great, the slow-mo version just made it look worse. As Greenscreen said, check the tutorial made by Nathan, it should help you a lot.
nathan's and I think NXTmaniac's tutorials are the best.
