Well, I just finished up my first shot! Gotta say, filming with a DSLR definitely adds more logistics to the whole process, but I think the results are worth it! Gonna try and animate a lot tomorrow!
A lot of progress has been made, almost done with filming. But need to check it all again 5 times.
455 frames.
Some rough going for me lately. Half my shots seem to be ruined, and I'm somewhat behind (haven't even started on the two/three key scenes). On the plus side, I've managed to perfect some wonderfully disgusting-looking lighting:
Recorded a line for Mr. Vertigo, and I recorded several takes of my narration for my own film. Hope it works.
Lots of animation to do, very little done, I'm going end up rushing this near the end.
Found out I have to work 9 to 5 on Thursday and I have church on Saturday. Only started animation today and it's slow going. Animating inside cars is freaking difficult.
I'm gonna have to FHAC this contest.
I still haven't finished my script.
Don't know if I'll manage to finish this.
Still haven't started to animate. Today I wasn't home and tomorrow I'll miss half a day or more. Friday I'm busy in the morning and I just feel defeated.
Got some more animation done. Missing a full day tomorrow due to work and a social meeting after, ah well.
The main character of my film isn't even made of Lego (he was supposed to be MEGA BLOKS) instead a rectangular lump of plasticine, trying to be friends with 'The Lego Dude'
Based on how much of my script dialogue I've animated, I'd say I'm 40-45% done animation.
I have around 3 or 4 shots left, hoping to finish up today or tomorrow
Almost done the 2nd of 4 scenes. Planning to complete the next two scenes tomorrow, and if not, Friday as well.
I am close to done with the 4th scene, and I have about 1,700 frames. Two more scenes after that...
Had to make the mod more obvious than I wanted, but I like how this turned out.
I'm loving that frame.
Am I the only one who is really loving the colour mod this year? Red and black opens up great opportunities for some striking visuals.
