My first brickfilm using a dslr (the canon t5i). It was not originally meant to be a silent film, which may explain any awkwardness in it. Also, the focus was not on the storyline, but on getting used to a new camera. And on the sets.
You had some really nice pans here, they were smooth and flowed well. Your cutting between angles was nice! Though I really felt like the titles were out of place, and they nullified the film some. If you are trying to create a silent film, I would explain the story with visual images instead of text, and if you can't do that then I would just put dialogue in it.
Your animation is smooth, and overall this was nice!

Pretty good! A very nice, short enjoyable film you got there. I do feel, though, that more could have maybe been added to it to give it some more effect, but I realize you were just testing out your new camera, so I'll give you that. All in all, a solid film.
By the way, I'm sorta(not really) interested in a new DSLR for brick filming sometime in the near future, and I was wondering how you're liking yours so far?
I enjoyed that. The animation was smooth for the most part, and the light flicker was minimal. The sets were fantastic. I especially enjoyed the zoom through the door in the hospital.
I understand that you were not planning on making a silent film to begin with, and that it's hard to convert a dialogue film into a silent one, but the dialogue cards really seemed out of place. the film seemed nice and touching at first, until all of the puns in the dialogue (puns aren't bad, I just felt they were out of place). However, even as it is, I still enjoyed it and it still made sense.

Thanks for the feedback, everyone. If I do end up doing another silent film, I'll keep in mind what you guys said.
GHB - I really like the t5i so far. It takes super clear pictures and is easy to start using. A couple of things I don't like as much is how much harder it is to do camera movements (but obviously, not impossible), the size (much larger than my c920), that I have to worry about hair being seen (have to dust the characters off between the frames), and that I don't have onion-skinning in EOS Utilities (how I do frame capture, now). If you do get a dslr, I would highly recommend also buying an ac adapter, in order to not worry about your battery dying in the middle of a shot. If you want to know more, PM me.
I really liked the overall feel -- you definitely set a consistent tone with your soundtrack/sets/camera angles/movements. I thought your sets were very impressive and well designed. Great preggo lady and I liked your coffin. If it wasn't for creative builders like you I'd have no one to steal ideas from!
