May I Have This Dance? [THAC XII]
A Man really want's to dance, but everyone shuns him, will he ever get his dance?
OK. Your sets need to be stuck down better. I had to pause for a moment whilst watching this to massage my eyeballs. Also the sets themselves could do with a little more depth.
That out of the way, this has a lot of good things going for it. I always like films that only communicate in grunts and use visuals to tell jokes, and this utilises that very well. I understood everything that was going on, and even chuckled at several points. The lighting is also surprisingly well done. The exterior shot of the club looks great, and the multi-coloured lighting inside the club is impressive.
The entry is, fittingly, like managing to find a cute guy to dance with at the club - only for the guy to trip over before suddenly lanching into an unpolished yet amusing breakdance. In the end: it was worth letting the guy finish.
Your animation could use some work, but the story was interesting. The disco lighting must have been a pain to do, so good job on that. I like the "Dun-duun-duuuunnn" part with the face replacement. Good use of that face.
I agree wholeheartedly with Max and Rioforce. But, I must congratulate you on making it all the way through your first THAC.
