There are a lot of brickfilms in the queue, how long does it take for review each movies? There are some brickfilms already reviewed? Should we wait summer, at end of the school year for more movies?

Ok thanks! 123?!!!
I would like to apply for the review panel if you need help reviewing. I know people would appreciate getting their film in the directory quicker, so if you need any help, I'm in. : )
I hate how whenever someone famous like filmyguy or mindgame make a film or puts up a casting call, everyone goes, watches it and reviews it, and the films made by guys who aren't very well known get no feedback.

You have a point. I recall a 5 second long Tim and Fred episode that slipped into the directory.
Where as the minute films by somone less well known gets it reviewed 3 months later.

I'm also talking about people commenting on other people's films and casting calls

It's pretty logical -- people who make good films regularly gather a fanbase, so people watch their films right when they come out and that that sort of reputation takes time to build up.
And as for casting calls, people who have already established themselves to be good are obviously going to get more interest. A lot of new people come with huge projects planned, ask for voice actors, the actors record the voicework, and then the new person leaves and never makes the film. This has happened to me a few times, it really does scare you away from acting for newer people since they don't have a reputation, and also there's no guarantee the quality of the finished product will be as high as you'd like. The example's a bit flawed in that filmyguy and mindgame both have never put out a casting call on this site. Unless you count that Kanye West impression thread filmyguy made.
The review system isn't as flawed as Chuppa suggests, to my knowledge, though. We make some effort to review films in about the order they're submitted.
I agree there should also be more Review Panel members, about 5 more should make some people happy and I'm up to fill in a form to be one.

The more reviewers we have, the less meaningful it becomes. The problem isn't so much a lack of reviewers I think, but that nearly everybody loses interest in being a reviewer once they actually become one. It's not a particularly fun, desirable job to have to watch everything that is submitted for most people, so we tend to get a loss of momentum. If everybody on the panel just reviewed films on a semi-regular basis, 13 would be more than enough.
Nevertheless, I plan to work on the review panel a bit this summer, probably trim out some people who haven't reviewed in a long time and begin looking for new people as well. The best application for the review panel isn't to churn out a couple of lengthy reviews of well-known brickfilms for an application, but to review films regularly in the forums.
I'd really be willing to do this. During the summer I'm not too busy, so I'd probably be able to review about one film a week. Most likely less, but I'd try. I'd appreciate it (And I wouldn't abuse my authority).
I have two vids that were submitted like, two weeks ago. In the directory like it says it hasn't been reviewed. Does that mean it's in line for being reviewed?
It takes much longer than 2 weeks for a film to be reviewed.
I would LOVE to be a reviewer. I love making movies as much as I do watching them. I would watch 2 films a day if I became a reviewer. It would be a fun job.:)
im trying to post my new star wars lego movie but it says i need a thumbnail whats a thumbnsil
