I thought you were going to invent your own 6k aspect ratio, or something like that. 
- Seriously though, Isn't 1080p considered "Blu Ray HD?" If so, I'd assume the documentary will be finalized at that quality.
Gentry, it'll depend on the aspect ratio of the film. Currently I'm experimenting with unconventional aspect ratios like Univisium (2:1) and I kind of like it in the tests I've done. It fixes some issues I had with framing the interviews in 1.85:1, and the ratio is increasingly acceptable in the digital age, I know House of Cards uses it, for instance. So if I stick with 2:1, the master resolution would be 2048 x 1024.
Sonjira, I assumed 1080p. 2k is sort of a neat idea, though. I need to figure out the best way to securely distribute the download, which may impact that. I'm open to ideas for how that should be done! I want something that is an actual download, but preferably also where I could control the downloading to one copy per customer/account/etc.
Framerate will be 23.976, basically just the digital video standard that looks like 24p. With the camera, lenses, and color grading I'm using, I'm aiming for the documentary to have sort of a super 35mm film look.

2.35:1 doesn't work well with portrait shots for interviews, but I'm partial to wide ratios. So 2:1 is kind of a compromise. I'm liking it so far.

Rewards are a little delayed. I do feel badly about this, I'd hoped we could have them out in time for the holidays. But I also know that getting content from brickfilmers has taken a lot longer than we'd hoped, and we can only make this collection as good as we want it to be if we have a lot of brickfilms to put on it.

I'm willing to wait, especially if it means that there will be more content on the finalized collection. 
Hey, we wouldn't be in this hobby if we couldn't muster up a bit of patience every once in a while. 
It's not problem, and I echo Dyland in saying that I'd much rather more content than an earlier arrival.
And Sloth, take as long as you need and make that thing perfect.
Please don't rush stuff and compromise the film's quality for us viewers.

Doug's in charge, but from what I understand it's a ton of people holding us up. I'm one of them, too; I haven't made my exclusive film yet due to unforeseen distractions going on in the real world currently.

Seeing as the documentary isn't even finished, it's not surprising that you haven't gotten yours yet. The first page estimates digital copies to be available December of next year, 2015.
Don't think that's what he's asking.
The digital pre-order will be available until the same time as everything else -- it's look like mid-February, now.

Freakin beautiful frames
I did not recognize myself at first in that last frame, I was wondering who else rode a bike in the doc, guess I've never seen myself captured on that 300mm lens.
Great frames, can't wait for the final product.
