Re: Bricks in Motion: The Documentary Kickstarter is now LIVE!
Have you tried reddit? BZpower? An ad on Brothers Brick (if that's possible)? The FXHome forums? Reddit? 4chan?
You can tell I don't go on many forums. Ever.

I gave both /r/LEGO and /r/Brickfilms a shot.
I'll go and upvote them.
It might be a stretch, but have you considered cartoon brew?
I just pmed Huw (brickset admin) on the brickset forums, hopefully he will respond soon.
Update: He said he would take a look.

Shot rodypolis an email, no harm in doing so. I gotta say, though, that looking at their blog I think our project is not relevant to them and I'd be very surprised if they went for it.
I think we'd need to find blogs that already post articles somewhat in line with posting about the documentary in order to get results. The non-brickfilming blogs I listed above that I've emailed all have a history of posting AFOL type stuff occasionally, for instance.
Cartoon brew's submit a tip page says: Do not send links to film fundraising campaigns. We will under no circumstances link to a third-party fundraising campaign on Kickstarter, IndieGogo or any such similar site.
I think a lot of sites see it that way.
Has anyone tried asking Brick Ultra to promote it?
We've sent out info to a decent number of LEGO blogs, but not Brick Ultra until just now. If you're curious / want to cross-check it with any ideas, here's who we have contacted as far as LEGO blogs. I'm pretty open to suggestions to add to the list:

I think one of their partners here should ask (like Jampot or Max Butcher)
Have you tried 4chan?
Huh. Now, ordinarily I wouldn't recommend touching 4chan with a bargepole but there is a possibility that the Lego general on /toy/ may be interested. This could actually be an area I'm able to assist in. However, as I'm sure many are aware, although /toy/ is a really pleasant board, 4chan is still notorious for its less-than-pleasant users from other corners of the internet - is it worth venturing there?
Uh. I'm not sure we're THAT desperate.

Yes, I would add that although I've contacted that entire list of blogs myself, if you have a particular personal connection to the staff of one of the sites that hasn't publicized the project yet, feel free to let them know about the project yourself.

I'm not a partner anymore. Well, I'm sort of on hiatus. I may go back at some point. But the list says BU's already been contacted, so it's cool.
Woah. Noticed this just got a bunch more backers.
That's very neat. I hope it gets fully funded.
Great news everyone, we just got two more Executive Producers! Now we only have one Executive Producer spot left!
Doug Vandegrift has put together a new promotional video to get people excited about the Bricks in Motion Kickstarter! If you want to help, you can download this video and upload it to your own YouTube Channel. Click here to download! Don't forget to include a link to the Kickstarter in the annotations and/or video description!

That's awesome, I am really glad the kickstarter is doing well.
Oh no, what happened? Someone chicken out all of the sudden or something? Now it's down to just a little over $8,000. Let's just hope that this doesn't happen again on that scale, and we continue on track to our goal.
