Who's Sarah Herman? And what does she think she knows about brickfilming?

Re: Brick Flicks book

If this is the woman I think it is, she interviewed Smeagol and a few other site members for this book.

That is to say that she is someone who has done her research on the topic.

Re: Brick Flicks book

Yeah she also interviewed me. She doesn't make brickfilms but she has written books about LEGO in the past. They tend to be a collection of info and neat pictures. I have pre-orded the book but that is really all I know about the book.

Re: Brick Flicks book

She interviewed me. Seems to have interviewed a lot of people. I have no involvement with the book other than that she interviewed me, so I don't have any insider info.

The Brick Flicks book is amazing!  Interviews with well known brickfilmers, fun photos, behind the scenes peaks and a lot of helpful techniques make this a great resource for brickfilmers from novice to expert.

What do you guys think of the pictures?

I totally agree. The pictures were really sweet. You did a really epic job of taking them.

Re: Brick Flicks book

They had this book at my local bookstore here and I had a gift card, plus there was a small discount because of black Friday...so I picked it up.  I don't know when I'll get a chance to really look through it, but it seems like it's well done, perhaps just a bit simplistic.  Even so, it still seems better than any other resources I've seen about LEGO animation.

I'll post again when I've actually read it...
