If this is the woman I think it is, she interviewed Smeagol and a few other site members for this book.
That is to say that she is someone who has done her research on the topic.
Ok so I just bought it. And am really enjoying it.
The Brick Flicks book is amazing! Interviews with well known brickfilmers, fun photos, behind the scenes peaks and a lot of helpful techniques make this a great resource for brickfilmers from novice to expert.
What do you guys think of the pictures?

I totally agree. The pictures were really sweet. You did a really epic job of taking them.
They had this book at my local bookstore here and I had a gift card, plus there was a small discount because of black Friday...so I picked it up. I don't know when I'll get a chance to really look through it, but it seems like it's well done, perhaps just a bit simplistic. Even so, it still seems better than any other resources I've seen about LEGO animation.
I'll post again when I've actually read it...
