Re: What was the last movie you watched?
Candleshoe
I actually liked it for the most part. The fight at the end was funny.

The Hunger Games
That was good. Just about every aspect of this movie was great, the effects, the costumes, the makeup, the acting, and it was decently accurate to the book, just skimming through some of the longer stuff and leaving out a few not very important bits.
Only thing I disliked was too much shaky camera. Seriously, I couldn't see stuff properly.
Luckily, it let off a bunch once they got to the Capitol.
The Kingdom (2007)
That was a really great movie. The masses did complain about the slow pacing as this 110min. length film only has action sequences in the second half the movie (towards the end) but I gotta say it was an intelligent film and what's even weirder is that the most likeable character in the movie wasn't an American
it was the Saudi Arabian officer.
The Men Who Stare at Goats
Great cast and a truly hilarious movie. A must-watch!
The Day the Earth Stood Still (2008)
I...have...got to stay away from alien films. They always turn out cheesy and unoriginal.
3/10
Big Miracle (2012)
Goodness gracious, great balls of fire! This is a good film! This movie could beat Free Willy any day. If you have yet to see this film, go watch it now! You will not be disappointed.

Watch the original. It's great.
Dawn of the Dead (remake)
One of the few really good remakes. They really manage to make all the characters distinguisable, which is impressive considering there are about 10 we focus on.
Night of the Creeps
Now I know where they got the idea from 'Slither' from. This was surprisingly entertaining. Must be Tom Atkins' best role.
RED
Awesome for an action movie! Great cast, well written script. I truly enjoyed this one.
Never a Dull Moment
This has got to be one of !@#$ Van Dyke's best films. Loved it!
Star Wars: the phantom menace 3D
The Man in the Iron Mask
One of my favorite films, the acting in this is superb. Not too much action, but the storyline is great. I'm always surprised that no one seems to know about this film, especially considering that DiCaprio is in it, and IMO he's fantastic here. Certainly worth watching, especially if you like musketeer films.
Bill & Tedd's Excellent Adventure
AAAAAAHHHHH!!!!! ![]()
That was awesome!
Kinda mad, cheesy, silly, and really funny.
Seeing Neo talk that way is so amusing. xD
We bought a Zoo
Outstanding Damon's performance. Great script. It was very enjoyable, it was both sad and funny!

That movies pretty Sweet.
Phenomena
Wow, that was !@#$ awesome. Especially the third act, just got better and better, just insane.
The more Argento I watch the more I like it.
Super 8 (2011)
Cheesy, but pretty decent for a sci-fi alien film. I mean when was the last time Spielberg let us down? *cough, War Horse, Indiana Jones 4, cough, cough* I also liked how they brought back all the classic hits from the 70s.
If you want to hear a better review, however, check out what fellow BiM "forum-goer" Darkman had to say about the film. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tmYHQ1EGeeQ

King Kong (2005)
Despite it's length and crappy cast (I personally can't stand Adrien Brody), this remake of the classic 1933 black-and-white/action film, where Kong looks like the snow monster from the Red-Nosed Rudolph special from 1968, is really quite something. Director/co-writer Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) really brings home the bacon!
9/10
Cast Away (2000)
Famed and popular director of Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Forrest Gump, Beowulf, The Polar Express(seriously, this list is endless)...Robert Zemeckis reveals a new side to Tom Hanks. This film is proudly supplied with good lessons and morals...plus, some ways to survive in the wild that most of humankind hadn't thought of before.

You know that Spielberg didn't direct Super 8, right?
I saw :
Mary Poppins
Full of happy songs, fine choreographies, good acting (and an uncomprehensible accent by !@#$ van Dyke, good thing I put subtitles) and excellent special effects (I was curious to find out the mechanism of the bird, in the special features they only showed a lot of cables and didn't explain anything). Overall, lovely movie, I find it hard not to like it.

Now,war horse was a very good movie, which brings me to my next point...
War Horse
Seriously, this movie was beautiful. I actually cried about halfway through the movie. 10.5/10
Once Upon a Time in the West
Well... This was the first spaghetti western I'd ever seen, and I liked it pretty well. It had some superb cinematography and scenery and stuff. It certainly won't be the last spaghetti western I will watch! Also,
