What.

Oh right, I've forgotten. You do 5-minute action sequences involving multiple characters brawling all through a city in one shot all the time. No sweat, right?

They really should have cut it about every five seconds. That's never used to hide lazy filmmaking, right?

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Yeah, remember the extended tracking shot during the opening of Touch Of Evil - regarded as one of the greatest opening sequences in cinema history? Wasn't that a load of crap?

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Anybody can do that, Max. They're a dime a dozen.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

I find those tracking shots to be intriguing and inspiring.. The opening of Touch of Evil is fantastic. There are plenty of other films that did similar shots as well. I did a somewhat avant-garde film for school in almost 1 shot and I must say it isn't easy.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

And then also Alfred Hitchcock did that in one of his films. If you are talking about what I am thinking of.

I really enjoyed this movie too! As you said, it was way better than I expected. An excellent plot with great humor. I highly recommend for a fun movie.

Incredible. Just incredible. I loved this. Everything about this film is genius. I found out about this film almost about a year ago...it was well worth the wait. If you haven't read the books or seen the movie... mini/twitch  you don't know entertainment like I do.

It was epic! Although they changed a lot of things. mini/confused  And they made the gamemakers seem evil especially when

Its an adaptation. You can't completely replicate a book.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Madagascar

I had never seen any of the Madagascar movies before until last night, when I watched the first one. It was a good movie with great  laughs, however it didn't feel like a movie at times. There were some parts that seemed like they were a cutscene in a video game. I mean this in the sense of how the camera moved and the animation style. Adding onto this, it didn't seem very cinematic at times like I think a movie should. However, I wouldn't let this stop someone from seeing this movie, because it is a fun movie and you will most likely laugh all the way through.

Absolutely loved it.
One of the best films I've seen all year.

The Muppets
A billion times better than the original, and with a lot less musical parts.

Just watched the remake of The Thing.
Great film.

Re: What was the last movie you watched?

Cyber Zone (1995)
Imagine a version of Blade Runner where the replicants are robot-hookers, Deckard is played by a Kevin Bacon lookalike who teams up with a space-smuggler played by a man who looks like Fabio but acts like Tommy Wisea and does Kung Fu, and they both have to fight a Terminator, an army of generic bad guys and a quick-shooting henchman in a scene that blatantly rips off For a Few Dollars More. Oh, and the production values are on par with an Asylum film. That's basically Cyber Zone in a nutshell.
Max Butcher, you'd like this one.

THE EVIL DEAD

A true classic horror film! There's not much to say. Everyone should watch it.

Yeah, sorry it mixed up with the sequel which doesn't have "The" in the title.

I'm sorry for pointing it out, it's a stupid detail.
The remake is gonna be without the "The" though.
